By now you have probable viewed over a hundred "Time-Line" suggestions online and featured in about every bridal magazine in the country. It's time to introduce you to another time-line... Your wedding day time-line

You've been to events where everything seemed to happen effortlessly. The night's events moved forward as if on cue: The music seemed to transform the mood and atmosphere of the room as cocktails moved to dinner to toasts to cake cutting without hesitation. Everyone was having so much fun they don't even notice how well-orchestrated the evening was.

Events like that don't just happen. Behind the scenes is precise planning with a detailed timeline. This is when all your planning becomes stress-free reality.

I've put together a very brief sample timeline for a ceremony and wedding reception. The actual Time-Line I use the day our your event is three-to-five pages Clients May View A More Detailed Copy Here. It is virtually impossible to predict the exact timing of each event, this timeline is only a reference and does not reflect what is commonly requested.

Remember, if something is worth mentioning, it's worth mentioning more then once.... "The main purpose of a wedding ceremony and reception is to celebrate your love and have fun! Always look at the big picture, and not fret the small stuff". Hiring a team of professionals has major advantages.

A FEW QUICK POINTERS:

  • Your timeline will cover the entire day, from when you arrive at the ceremony location to the reception break-down and clean-up.
  • Don't be afraid to see I've schedule the timeline in exact-minute increments for your event.
  • I will Take nothing for granted! Include a step for every action, regardless of how minor it may seem.
  • Be clear about whom my day-of event contact will be and who is responsible for what.
  • I will give copies of your Event-Production-Sheet to everyone involved. Caterers, florists, set-up crew, clean-up crew, and all speakers will receive a copy as well. Extra copies will be available the day of the event as well as a keepsake copy for your permanent records.
  • I will need you to designate one person I can coordinate unforeseen situations and basic schedule changes. The person should not be personally involved in the event. A close family friend is ideal. It should not be the mother of the bride/groom or anyone in the wedding party.

It is virtually impossible to predict the exact timing of each event. Wedding ceremonies often begin later than scheduled. The traffic may affect arrival times at either your ceremony or reception... the length of either the meal or additional formal photo sessions are all items that may and often do delay the time frame of your event.
