THE DAY OF YOUR RECEPTION I WILL BE THERE OR IT'S FREE!
In 1968, the country of Tanzania selected John Stephen Akhwari to represent it in the Mexico City Olympics.
Along the race course for the marathon, Akhwari stumbled and fell severely injuring both his knee and ankle. By 7 P.M., a runner from Ethiopia had won the race, and all the other competitors had finished and been cared for. Just a few thousand spectators were left in the huge Olympic stadium when a police siren at the gate caught their attention.
Limping through the gate came number 36, Akhwari, in severe pain with his leg wrapped in a bloody bandage. Those present began to cheer as the courageous man completed the final lap of the race.
Later, a reporter asked Akhwari the question on everyone's mind: "Why did you continue the race after you were so badly injured"
He replied: "My country did not send me 7,000 miles to begin a race; they sent me to finish the race."
..................................
The same above holds true with my company. You're not booking my service for me to do ALL the advance planning only to send a less-talented or less-experienced replacement, the day of your event.
The cornerstone or foundation of my company is the focus and dedication I give to each of my clients. The difference, between other DJ's and myself, is my professional experience and personal talent. I not only say I'll be your personal Disc Jockey, I guarantee the day of your event I'll be there to finish what I'm contracted to do. (see guarantee)
Here's what you need to do to uncover the secrets to hosting the most spectacular wedding reception many of your friends, family, business associates, peers, or employees have ever seen and at the same time you'll be the perfect host. "The Jealously Guarded Secrets to The Perfect Reception"
Great Receptions Don't Just Happen
After several phone conversations, consultations and time-line production meetings, you are headed into a stress-free day of celebration. At the conclusion of your wedding ceremony and a few photographs your on your way to a reception of love.
With my professional service nothing is left to chance. Your guests arrived to a reception room filled with music volume at a comfortable level setting the atmosphere for the second half of your celebration.
As you arrive at the hall, I'll greet you and verify all is well.. I've already welcomed your guests with a few pre-planned announcements as they anticipate your arrival.

The bridal party, in anticipation of the festivities about to begin, are lined up as I review with them the production plan for the evening and establish the Order of Introduction.
After the spotlight of the introduction, focus is re-directed as traditional and non-traditional formalities take center stage. A few clients wish to experience the first dance as soon as they enter the hall, others request it take place after the meal. Your first dance, as newlyweds, will be un-interrupted. Total focus of this moment in time, un-narrated, is on the bride and groom. Prior dinner, your right hand man and woman will be introduced to share words of support and love in the form of a formal toast.
Your guests will be informed as to when ALL formalities are to take place. My focus is not only on what is happening in front of me on the packed dancefloor. I'm aware if your parents or bridal party are out of the room, so they don't miss-out on the cake-cutting moment as it happens. Your video should be a re-cap of the fun you had not a premier viewing. Your guests will know what is happening as I mix into your unique and creatively produced cake-cutting ceremony and traditions.
By now, the advantages of hiring an experienced Professional Disc Jockey/Emcee are becoming very apparent. Weddings are emotional roller-coasters and utilizing an individual with talented Emceeing skills, mixed with a relaxed approach in touching the hearts of friends, family and associates, will ensure that the bride and groom are kept the center of attention. I'm not the show, I'm the vehicle and the grease to make it run smoothly. The talent, the order of events, the people, and the inventory have all been packaged by you the bride and groom. It is my job to present the package in the most gracious manner possible.
I've been complimented by thousands over the years for utilizing a unique approach in setting up the moment in time when your MOM or DAD will share a dance with you. The secret really isn't something I can teach anyone, it's developed over many years of looking into the eyes of Mothers and Fathers as they escorted their child onto a dancefloor for a dance. The secret is emotion and a deep hearted concern to make the moment perfect topped off with the understanding that when MOM and DAD look at you on your wedding day they see way more then a bride or groom. They see a baby, a child, a young adult. They sense a loss, experience a gain, yet envision not long ago, as they held you in their arms. YOU were their BABY!
You're parents dance is a feature, unlike countless other receptions you have attended, it has been separated from other traditional dances to add depth to the moment. Take a deep breath and select a song that touches the heart of you and your parents.
As the roller coaster of emotions turns the bend the reception is in full swing, and before you know it all your single friends are packed on the dancefloor waiting the cue to catch your goodwill ambassador bouquet, then larger bridal bouquet. (If you have selected to utilize this ceremony).
The lesson and tips on handling wedding day stress paid off as a prior fear of hearing the stripper song during the garter removal, as you have experienced at prior events, as I promised does not happen. It's replaced with a more up-with-the-times new millennium approach keeping with my promise to direct a unique celebration incorporating tradition, without turning your event into a circus show.

01 Before you know it the ceremonies, and formalities are over and we have entered the "PARTY ZONE". Your day will be a whirl-wind, full of emotions, and at one point it's time for you to finish the photographs move into the party of your dreams. A mix of tunes that incorporate a selection of your personal requests move your party to the next level.
Your reception is more then great photographs, a fabulous meal, beautiful flowers, or great music. It's a roller coaster of emotions. A time when loved ones join together in support to share in your excitement!
In the Tampa Bay area, where I work the majority of my wedding receptions, there is no licensure, credentials, or accreditation needed to be a "DJ". The majority of vendors offering other services, such as caterers, limo companies, etc., need to be licensed, but for some strange reason, bands and DJ's aren't! This means that anyone -- ANYONE! -- can buy some equipment and music and call themselves a DJ! -- PROFESSIONALISM -- is not achieved just because someone is charging for a service.
Congratulations, on your engagement....
