With such a large variety of entertainment options available in Georgia for special events, it's no wonder that making a final choice can be tough. While most plannerss believe that no detail is unimportant...Many do feel that the entertainment is what their guests will remember. So what do you choose? Do you book a party band or a professional disc jockey for your affair? Many individuals want the live interaction a band provides while others would like to hear their music performed by the original artists. The answer may lie with the ultimate decision that BOTH may be the right selection.
I've teamed up with some of the best live bands for the ultimate three-dimensional music entertainment package, featuring a Band/DJ/Master of Ceremonies combination. Created exclusively for party and event planners wanting the ultimate three-dimensional music package - the best of both worlds.
The debate between which should I use a Band, or a DJ, has been played out for years, with one side or another losing the debate. Take a look at your preferences, if you prefer to hear the music played by the original artists, or your looking to support performing artists. In either case, by my teaming up with the Band it's the ultimate three-dimensional music entertainment that may be the perfect solution to your dilemma.
The Live Paty Band in combination with iJAM Productions Inc. can perform for every section of your event, and create an ever changing kaleidoscope of settings, moods and feels. We will then take your guests into an entirely different upbeat feel with some hip, jazzy cocktail music. We offer unique and fabulous live dinner music that will have your guests raving for weeks. You can also choose to have a little light dancing between courses to offer your guests something a little different from the usual party protocol.
Finally, together we will offer a non-stop, high energy dance party that will allow your guests to really let loose and celebrate.
I've performed for hundreds of weddings and corporate events for all ages of guests. You may not know what will get Aunt Lucy-twice-removed up on the dance floor - but we do. Your event will be a mish mash of age groups and tastes. You will have some ballroom dancers, some non-dancers, a few swingers, disco divas (they only come out at night), rock air guitar players (beer involved), line dancers (don't say you never tried), slow and steady romantics, party animals, club dancers, and our favorite Parrot Heads. We just keep mixing it up with Professor Jamof Georgia professionally emceeing the festivities mixing sets of the recent hits, with the Live Paty Band taking you on a musical trip through sets of 60's, 70's and classic 80's, surprising and delighting your guests with our versatility, our inventiveness and our energy.

A FEW QUICK NOTES:
Q. How many pieces are in the band?
A. The Band can be as large or as small as your budget.
From acoustic solo all the way up to six pieces, the choice is yours. iJAM mixes music as disc jockey and official event emcee and Master of Ceremonies.
Q. What style of music do you play?
A. The Live Paty Band plays a variety of most popular 60's, 70's and 80's Classic Rock music - iJAM mixes in the remaining styles of music.
Q. Does the DJ/Band combo play at many events?
A. YES! Although allot of corporate events use the DJ/Band combo at parties, dinner dances, corporate functions and holiday parties, we play more weddings than any other type of party.
Q. What are the advantages of using a DJ/Band combo?
A. You get energy and excitement of a life performance and the quality of tracks sang via original artist. We create a mood that gets the crowd dancing and makes the party one to remember!
Q. How does the DJ/Band team dress for a wedding reception?
A. The gentlemen in the group wear tuxes or business attire. For our Parrott Head friends Grass Skirts are optional LOL.
Q. How long do you typically play for?
A. We switch off for twenty minute sets each. Our standard time frame is four hours, but additional time can be arranged depending on the date, time and location of your party.
Q. How many breaks do you take?
A. We each break every twenty minutes, but the excitement never stops. The only individual never on break is iJAM who works behind the scene coordinating the event time-line.
Q. What happens when the band takes a break?
A. iJAM takes over, the dancing never stops!
Q. How many assistants or groupies do you bring?
A. NONE! Only working individuals attend your event.
Q. Do you eat or drink alcohol at my event?
A. NO! The majority of clients that we perform for treat us as other professionals and offer meals to the entertainers. This is usually discussed in advance planning. We do require beverages such as water, soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages during our performance. As far as alcoholic beverages, you will not find our band running to the bar during breaks, unless the host offers we do not partake.
Q. I'm concerned about the volume of the band. How can we be sure that The RedHawks Band won't be too loud?
A. We are a team of EXPERTS at keeping the volume just right. During dinner iJAM will play your advanced selection of standards, jazz, easy listening and soft rock at a volume that allows your guests to carry on a conversation. After dinner the band brings it up just enough to get the crowd dancing. iJAM. brings a state of the art sound system to every gig that provides the highest quality sound, even at low volumes.
Q. for your first dance isn't on your song list. Will you learn a special request for us?
A. We're happy to learn a song or two as long as it's within our musical range and you provide us with a CD no later than 12 weeks prior to the date of your party. However, some people prefer the original artist's version of their special song. iJAM brings a full DJ set-up available to play a CD of the original artist's version of any song you request.
Q. Do I need to meet with the Band Leader?
A. It is not necessary to go out of your way to meet. All event planning is done by iJAM either over the telephone and via mail, or in person.
Q. How will the flow of events be handled? the introduction of the bridal party and the special dances?
